The future of Mobile marketing revisited

According to Ray Anderson, chief executive officer and founder of Bango, in a recent post published in startups.co.uk there are five crucial happenings that might throw some ideas of tomorrows mobile marketing, id like to share and comment some in this post.

According to Mr. Anderson, Over 50% of the world’s population now has a mobile phone, this amounts to 3 billion mobile phones. I think we owe this to our fellow asian inhabitants where there are 3 cellphones per each, but seriously analysing the cell’s renewal ratio and the newcomers of each major telco company, the market experienced a major breakthrough.
- Mobile advertising surges ahead New gadgets and new technologies help publishers to push creativity ahead.
- Shift from messaging to Internet for data usage on mobile phones SMS MMS and other formats will be obsolete when all cellphones and mobile gadgets get full web convergence and coverage of better broadband networks.
- Mobile commerce of physical goods will come of age New payment methods appeared, buy now, pay later, virtual credits, and other ways to obtain goods will define the new buying habit.
- The PC and mobile will become closely linked Mobile devices are turning into computers, computers are more connected than ever, and both worlds are intending to take everything Web.
